Our CULPEPER MARINE & INDUSTRIAL DIVISION offers a wide array of CCA treated lumber, timbers, and pilings for EPA approved uses. In addition, we carry hardware and all the accessories necessary to complete any marine project.
Culpeper MARINE products should be used for building in the harshest of environments namely in and around water. For centuries wood has been used in the construction of boardwalks, piers, marinas, seawalls and docks. Culpeper CCA pressure treated wood products can handle the toughest marine conditions in both brackish and salt water applications.
While deck boards and railing systems along with any part of the structure above the water line must be built with Culpeper MCA treated wood, the substructure for building in both brackish or salt water requires hardy CCA marine treatments.
Our marine treatments are available in CCA retention levels of .60, .80, 1.0, 1.5 and 2.5.

CCA Piling
POLE: Defined by its particular structural installation. If the pole is set with the butt (large end) in the ground, such as a utility pole or barn pole, it is referred to as a pole.
PILING: Also defined by its structural installation, pilings are driven into the ground with the tip (small end) first.

SHRINK TUBING ON A MASSIVE SCALE
To create Eco-Pole and Eco-Timber Culpeper utilizes Durosleeve - a dock piling sleeve made of PVC that works the same as shrink tubing for electrical components.
PROTECT YOUR PILES
The Durosleeve is a rugged PVC pile sleeve that is heat shrunk onto Culpeper marine pilings before they are installed. The sleeve is not a "wrap.” It is seamless, water tight and totally encapsulates the piling where it is most vulnerable to attack by marine organisms, UV damage and abrasive wear and tear.
